Maybe time goes slower once you're disconnected from the outside world. Maybe it freezes entirely. But if that's the case, was it 5 years real time...or 5 years of Cassandra time?
Anyway, let this serve as a monument to me writing way too goddamned much, quantity-wise. I have like 2 1/2 extra pages of unused/alternate prose in my word processor...compare with the 2 pages what I did use took up.
